I just wanted to let you know how satisfied I am with your product.

I had a Laser Disc with one side badly scratched in three places- it was unplayable after 3/4 of the way through. This was one disc of a rather expensive to replace (and hard to find) five disc set that I was in the process of transferring to DVD. Several years ago, with a scratch that was not as bad, I had limited but not satisfactory success with a product from a well known car care manufacturer.

After searching around the Internet, I came across your site. Reading the testimonials, I didn't see anyone that had used your product on a Laser Disc, but I figured what have I got to lose. So, I ordered your 2 oz. repair kit. Well, after many applications (Laser Disc players are not very forgiving), I finally had a playable disc.

I just wanted to say thanks for a great product, I had my new 2005 Ford Mustang for a month when I noticed the right rear tail light had some scratches on it, you had to look hard to see it, but it was there. I was thinking I might have to replace the whole assembly, I'm sure that would have cost big bucks at a dealer, but every time I looked at it I new I had to do something. I found your product online, and am so thankful I did, I ordered the 2 oz repair kit to give it a try, well, you know what happens, I used your product and the scratches were gone, and it looked as good as new. Several weeks after I bought a NEC 1765 LCD monitor, I managed to drop a 160 GB hard drive on its plastic outer protector. It left 2 deep and angulated cuts in the viewing surface. With 2 applications of the heavy scratch remover, followed by 1 light and 1 polish, it was back to new. This product is truly the morning-after pill for plastic scratches.

I just used the plastic restoration kit this weekend on my fogged-up headlights. It took quite a bit of elbow grease and several applications, but they look almost new again. Wow! What a difference. I would recommend this product to anyone. Great job -- keep up the good work!

Thanks, for all you support and the plastic repair kit. We had your plastic kit on the VAN for sometime. We never used it until we had a corvette top with scratches on the whole surface. After using it for an hour and all the scratches disappeared, the only thing which was still visible were fine water spots, but it turn out great. What we need is a small slow speed buffer what type do you recommend.

We are looking to find additional uses for your plastic polish do you have suggestions from other customer to improve this area in my business.

WOW!!! I am thrilled. As I mentioned, I have a rare Lucite from the Apollo 14 moon mission, in which a microfilm copy of the first page of a newspaper was carried to the moon by astronaut Alan Shepard. This was then embedded in a Lucite sphere and presented as a shelf trophy. I purchased this item just a few weeks ago at auction. Despite its rarity I was very disappointed in the obvious surface scratches and imperfections from years of poor care. I was REALLY skeptical that any "polish" could have any impact on improving the appearance, but after reading about Janvil on the website, and your response to me that it would work, I thought I'd give it a try. But after just one application and a goodly amount of elbow grease, I was astounded at the difference. I then used the spray cleaner and could not believe the before and after appearance of my Lucite. It is like night and day. I can't thank you enough!

I just wanted to drop you a line about your Plastic Scratch Removal. I own a 93 Jeep Wrangler and I have been thinking about replacing the soft top because the bad appearance of the plastic windows. I tried out your Light Duty & Plastic Shine - starting on the driver side window. After just a few minutes, I couldn't believe the change. I spent the next hour using your products to clean up the rest of the windows and other plastic items on my jeep. There was one problem that I had with using your product. When my wife returned home after being out all afternoon, I was accused of replacing the top on the jeep and it took a while to convince her that it was still the same top. Maybe you should put some type of caution on the bottle. Call it the Wife Factor - Just kidding.

I recently purchased a vintage bus with Plexiglas windows installed back in the late 1990's. The Plexiglas was, needless to say, in pretty poor shape. Besides scratches, someone had in the past used something on the windows that attacked the plastic and left streaks which I could not remove, until now.

Even though the temperature was in the low 20’s, I couldn’t wait to try your product when it arrived at my doorstep. So I went out to the hangar, cranked up the torpedo heater, and tested your product on one of the small, rear windows. I followed your instructions exactly, using the Shine, HD, LD, and then more Shine with blue paper shop towels.

All I can say is,
WOW!!!!

The difference was amazing!! Like new!!! So I moved on to the next window, a large side window. Same results—WOW! I then had to quit, as my fingers were going numb in the cold…

I was once considering putting all new Plexiglas---needless to say, a very expensive and time-consuming task. But now, I don’t even need to think of doing that! When it warms up, I will finish the job, and I can’t wait!

I bought your plastic restore system but was quite skeptical of whether it would work as promised. I was refinishing a rifle stock that had several pieces of black plastic permanently attached and they were really scratched. After covering the adjacent wood with masking tape, it took only about twenty minutes to have one piece of plastic shining beautifully. I couldn't believe it! Thanks a million.

I recently purchased a used acrylic roof panel for my Corvette on E-Bay. The purchase price at $550.00 dollars was about $700.00 dollars cheaper than a new one. I took a chance, even though the seller said "Mint", I was skeptical. When the panel arrived, you guessed it, it was less than mint with scratches and many strange scuff like marks, none of which could be cleaned away. I took the top to two different glass shops and was basically told I would have to live with it. Well, after doing a search on the internet I came across your product. For the $26 dollars it would cost me for a kit, I would have at least tried something; after all I already spent $550.00 dollars. I used the light duty remover from the kit. I figured start there and see it works or just makes it worse. I got to say, it took a couple of times but the light duty removed all of the scuffs. I will die a happy corvette guy.

I work with over the road trucks as a ASE mechanic for one of the biggest freight companies in the world and we have plastic headlights on them and we have to replace them when they get to bad.

When I first spoke to your company, I was skeptical of the claims you made about your Janvil Scratch Removal System. I own a shop that manufactures acrylic and glass fixtures for stores, restaurants and corporate displays. A common question I get from my customers is how to recondition acrylics after they became scratched and damaged. In the past, I have received samples of polishes from several companies and I never have been impressed until now. I have a customer that contracted my shop to make a large counter display for them. During transport, the unit became scratched and scuffed. I was in a panic thinking about the amount of time I had invested in the job and I was not looking forward to making another one. I decided to try out your plastic scratch removal system on the damaged area before throwing in the towel.

The results were great. Not only was my customer pleased with the final appearance of the repaired display unit, I was impressed with how easy your product was to use and how well it worked.

There now is a permanent spot in my tool box for you product. Thanks for getting me out of the jam.

I had a '98 Mercedes Benz SL500 convertible today. The back plastic window was trashed. It was scratched and had a greasy, milky film over it from whatever the owner used to clean it. My associate tried a little glass cleaner. That did absolutely nothing. We tried the Janvil plastic shine and it took a few applications, but it came out as clear as glass!! Beautiful!! The owner was blown away as that window was one of his big concerns.

The Plastic Shine did such a good job that we didn't even have to bother with the scratch removal products.

I was able to charge the owner $25 for about 20 minutes of work. I could have charged a lot more and he would have gladly paid it. The results were that good!! The secret, as we found out, is to mist the product on and let it dwell for several minutes until it is just starting to dry then wipe it off with a clean terry towel followed by a mf. Just make sure the window is free of dirt & dust so you don't scratch it when you begin to wipe it.

What a great product. I scratched the display screen on my hand held HAM radio. If you've ever seen one, the display is small and the information displayed is even smaller. Naturally I put a scratch across the corner of the display where some very important operating detail appears.

I awoke from a nap one day to discover that one of my darling children had taken the business end of something
sharp to my month old 57 inch wide screen HDTV.

I, of course, immediately called Hitachi to find out what it would cost to have the screen guard replaced as there were now 2 eight inch long gouges smack in the middle of the screen. I was promptly informed that the guard by itself could not be replaced as it was molded onto the screen. I could, however have the 'screen assembly' replaced for $560 plus labor.

I did some homework trying to find alternatives to this somewhat ridiculous fee ($560 is about 1/4th of the total cost of the TV). I found a company which claimed they could replace the guard independent of the screen for $230 installed. A little better on cost, but I had to find something a little cheaper as my mad money was running out fast.

Several folks suggested using a plastic scratch remover. I never heard of such a thing except for CD's and the like and my experience with them has been less than remarkable. I tried it any way, after my wife suggested some product off the shelf at the mega store. $10 dollars later, no change as expected. A friend of mine at work (whom works on Harrier jets) suggested I order the kit from Janvil stating he's used it on the canopies with varying degrees of success depending upon the depth of the scratch.

I ordered it. Three days later (three days sooner than I expected) I received the goods and promptly went to work. The first application was a marked improvement. So a half hour and about 50 gallons of elbow grease later the scratches are transparent to the eye, except when the TV is off and you are trying to find them. Needless to say, I'm impressed all around. From the initial phone call to you guys to the remarkably prompt delivery of the goods... to the end result.
